After winning a tournament a week over the last fortnight we’re worried that Ken Doherty might be starting to go through withdrawals as he waits for the Royal London Watches Grand Prix to begin. The newly crowned Irish and Pot Black champion has got himself a habit he’s not going to be checking himself into the Priory to break. Still high from his successes the Dubliner will be desperate to score again. Any involvement in an alleged burglary into Steve Davis’ trophy room, where nothing was stolen but there was a large Guinness stain left in front of the display case, has been strenuously denied.
